Dear Friends and Supporters,
Thank you for continuing to love and give to the work of Arm of Hope in Ghana. The second semester of school is underway, and our students have returned to their studies. The reality of over 400 children being educated today because of you is mind blowing and touching. When you picture a room filled with 400 souls, you picture a substantial room. This is the reality of Arm of Hope today, and it’s all because of you. Changing lives is a slow and steady business. God bless you for your willingness to partner with Arm of Hope for the long haul.
We are so excited to announce that several weeks ago, the shipment of Arm of Hope books collected here in the States, arrived in Ghana! Our student leaders worked hard to help Brother Philip set them up into a library system. The books we collected will be added to an assortment of Ghanaian books, and the library will be open for business very soon! Some of our older students are being trained to manage the library and computer room for Arm of Hope. This will provide them with finances and training to prepare them for their futures. Recently as I was going through pictures of students still in need of sponsorship, I noticed how many of them said their hobby was reading. In the past, reading materials have been very limited, but with the new library, so many doors will be opened for their young minds. It is amazing to think of how their love for reading will grow now that their book supply is not just limited to school resources.
This weekend marks the first meeting for our 2020 Ghana camp team. God has brought together another strong and gifted team to serve. We are excited to get started with planning and fundraising for another great year of camp. Please pray that God will unify us as a team and give us ideas and plans that will fulfill His purposes for this year’s camp.
