Today would you please pray for our teen helpers in Ghana?  This is our eighth year of sponsorship through Arm of Hope.  This means that many of our students who were quite small when we began are now quite grown up.  When teens reach the age of 18, they are no longer able to attend camp, because we want to make more room for younger campers to attend.  Instead, older students are able to return to camp to help lead groups and use what they have learned over the past years to teach those coming along behind them.

I am so proud of our camp graduates!  They are amazing!  Now that we are at year 5, they know exactly what to do.  They lead groups and disciple and mentor young campers in the same way they were discipled and mentored in years past.

This is especially exciting because our vision statement for Arm of Hope says:

Our vision is…”to see young people living in slum communities discipled to love Jesus with all of their hearts, so they can rise up as leaders and disciple makers who transform their community, their country, and their world.”

It’s amazing to see our vision coming to pass right before our eyes.  God is working in the lives of these young people, and they are committing themselves to follow and trust in Him, and then share that with others.

Thank you for praying!
