Dear Arm of Hope Partners,

Today I am so overwhelmed with the goodness of God! How am I so fortunate and blessed to be able to serve Arm of Hope in Ghana?  What a joy it is to see young people raised up to love and serve Jesus!  Thank you to all of you!  You are the hands and feet of Jesus, providing resources for lives to be changed.  Wow!

Philip and Hannah Darko will be on US soil next week!  I am so excited to host my “boss” and his lovely wife for a month, and I look forward to all of the wonderful connections we will be able to make together. If you or your organization would like to learn more about supporting Arm of Hope, contact us, and we will arrange a time to meet!

The main reason for Brother Philip’s visit is our annual Arm of Hope banquet turned picnic coming up on October 2!  That’s right!  Last year’s parking lot picnic was such a success, that we decided to do it again this year.  The event will be held in the Hope Community Church parking lot at 1806 Harrisburg Avenue, Mount Joy.  There will be delicious chicken barbecue, back by popular demand, along with homemade sides, and Fox Meadow’s ice cream!  Dinner will be served to your car between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m., so bring friends to share your picnic.

While dinner is being served at the picnic, there will also be a little taste of our camp in Ghana, with different stations set up for your whole family to enjoy.  At 7:00, Philip Darko will share stores of how God is impacting young people in Ghana through the work of Arm of Hope.

Contact us today at cheryl@armofhopeinghana.org for your free tickets!  You will have an opportunity to give generously to the work of Arm of Hope as you leave the event.  God will use this event to provide for His work in 2022, and I’m so excited to see all He will do through the funds raised!

Please pray with us for the following Arm of Hope requests:

PRAY…for a safe trip and negative COVID tests, as Philip and Hannah travel to the US on September 17 and 18.

PRAY…for God’s miraculous provision through our Arm of Hope picnic fundraiser on October 2.

PRAY…for our Arm of Hope students and their education, as schools are still struggling through the changes COVID has brought.

PRAY…for our Ghana camp team, as we continue to raise finances and make plans for our travels on December 27-January 10.

PRAY…for more sponsors to come alongside the kids of Arm of Hope and provide much-needed education.

Thank you so much for your continued support and love for the Arm of Hope kids…and don’t forget to message me for your free tickets (cheryl@armofhopeinghana.org.

See you at the picnic!
