Dear Partners, Supporters, and Friends,

Happy New Year!  It’s that wonderful, fresh-start, time of the year when we look back with gratefulness on the past year and all that God has done, and we look forward to the new year with anticipation of what He will continue to do.

As we look back, we are thankful for God’s provision to enroll over 400 children in school through Arm of Hope, including 26 college students.  We are amazed that God gave us our first Arm of Hope building in the community in which we are working.  We fondly remember the experience of dedicating that building in August. We are so grateful for a 6th year of camp with many children committing and recommitting their lives to Christ, as they grow in their love for Him. Our hearts are full as we remember God’s provision through you, our partners, for all of these events over the past year.

As we look forward, we cannot wait to see how God will provide for the new year.  We look forward to becoming an independent non-profit.  We are excited to have our first data base to keep track of all of our sponsored children and their needs.  We look forward to moving completely into our new facility, stocking our new library, and getting our computer center up and running.  We smile to think of all the children who will be blessed by this place and all the young people who will be mentored into leaders in this new building.  We are trusting God for the perfect team and the perfect theme for our 7th year of camp, and we are pretty sure God has some surprises for us in the new year too!  Our peace and our faith are in Him to lead us and show us the way one step at a time.

December brought us our first funds for the 2020 camp through our annual Christmas Cookie Bake Fundraiser.  We are thankful that God is already providing for the work He wants to do at our 7th annual Arm of Hope camp.

December also brought about our annual Arm of Hope Christmas party with Brother Philip Darko, our missionary partner, overseeing the transport and feeding for 525 children from the Arm of Hope community.  The day was filled with joy as camp songs were sung, games were played, Christmas dinner was enjoyed, and ice cream served.  The day even held some special surprises like a popcorn machine, bouncing castles, and football games for the boys and the girls. It was very rewarding to see our vision coming to pass as our college students and high school graduates stepped up to lead and disciple groups of younger children, organizing their transportation as well as their events throughout the day.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for your ongoing support and partnership with God and His plans for Arm of Hope.  Your obedience to His voice is the reason for our successful 2019 year.  Your partnership in the future will enable more and more children to be reached for Jesus.

To continue to partner with Arm of Hope, you can give to our Development Fund at armofhopeinghana.org.  To sponsor a child, please contact us at armofhopeinghana@gmail.com.
